Bio
Liam Goldrick joined the NTC as director of policy in June 2006. In that role, Liam leads a range of initiatives designed to advance and support new educator induction and mentoring policy at the federal, state and district levels. Prior to joining the NTC, Liam served as education policy advisor to Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle for nearly two years. From 2001 to 2004, he was a senior policy analyst in the Education Division at the National Governors Association in
Liam graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Boston College in 1993 and earned a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government in 1995. He grew up and attended public schools in Massachusetts and Vermont.
Liam currently lives in Stoughton, Wisconsin with his wife, Sara Goldrick-Rab -- a professor of education policy and sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison -- and their two children, Conor and Annie.
