Bio

This is my first year as a full release mentor. It's also my first time out of the classroom in 22 years! Some days I really miss "my kids" but I do enjoy working with the first year teachers. I mentor 14 teachers from Pre-K to 5th grade. My teachers are at six different low income schools and several of my teachers teach in spanish all day as part of a dual language program our county offers. This is rather challenging since I don't speak any spanish!

On a personal note, I have two beautiful daughters age 17 and 13. The oldest wants to be a music teacher and the youngest wants to be a pre-school or K teacher. I'm taking notes about what they need to remember for their first year and praying that they have an NTC mentor!
