Teacher Questions Focus Students to Develop a Testable Question

Students need support throughout the inquiry process. Initially, time needs to be set aside to work with groups of students to clarify and review the process. For students who have never experienced inquiry learning, instruction must be explicit and modeled. In addition, asking students questions to think through the process is an integral part.
