New philanthropic special report on improving teaching quality profiles New Teacher Center induction model

New Teacher Center is featured in a new special report, “High Impact Philanthropy to Improve Teaching Quality: Focus on High-Need Secondary Students,” by the Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania. The report profiles New Teacher Center’s teacher induction model as a highly effective funding avenue for today’s results-oriented philanthropists who wish to address teaching quality, student achievement and teacher effectiveness and retention.

According to the report, New Teacher Center is profiled because it has been cited by numerous sources as an organization which delivers a model worth examining, has strategies that are consistent with available evidence on effective human capital approaches, provided internal program and financial information that supported the promise of its model, and had results already validated by a third party.
